Paste up to 100 proxies and check which ones work. For each proxy you get the working protocols, response time, exit IP, country, ISP and anonymity level, with results you can filter and download.

Credentials are sent over HTTPS, used only for this check and never stored. To prevent abuse, we log your IP address, browser and the proxy addresses and results of each check for 30 days. Response times are measured from our checker server, so they can differ from what you see from your own location. Only test proxies you own or are allowed to use.
The checker connects to each proxy, sends a test request through it and records the result for every protocol you select. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
One proxy per line, up to 100 per run. Mix formats freely; duplicates are removed automatically.
Select HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 or SOCKS5. A line that starts with socks5:// or http:// is only tested with that protocol.
Filter working or failed proxies, copy the working list, or download a full CSV report.
Each column answers one question about the proxy.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Status | Working if at least one selected protocol completed a test request through the proxy. |
| Protocols | Each tested protocol, green if it worked and struck through if it failed. Hover a failed one to see the reason. |
| Response | The fastest full request time through the proxy, in milliseconds, measured from our checker server. |
| Exit IP | The IP address websites see. It can differ from the proxy IP when the provider uses a separate outgoing address. |
| Location and ISP | Country, city, ISP and ASN of the exit IP, based on IP geolocation data. |
| Anonymity | Elite, Anonymous or Transparent. HTTP proxies are measured from the headers they add to plain HTTP requests. SOCKS proxies and HTTPS-only tunnels cannot add headers, so they are Elite. |
The checker reads the headers a proxy adds to plain HTTP requests and compares them with the address of our checker. SOCKS proxies and HTTPS tunnels pass traffic through without touching it, so they cannot add these headers.
The proxy adds no forwarding headers. Websites see only the exit IP and no sign that a proxy is in use.
Headers such as Via or X-Forwarded-For reveal that a proxy is used, but your original IP is not passed on.
The proxy passes the original client IP to the website. It hides nothing and is unsuitable for privacy.
Every HighProxies proxy is a dedicated datacenter IP assigned to one customer. Our proxy servers strip forwarding headers, so HTTP proxies test as Elite. See current locations and availability.
Common questions about checking proxies, formats, protocols and results.
A proxy checker connects to each proxy and sends a test request through it. It reports whether the proxy works, which protocols it supports, how fast it responds, which exit IP and location websites see, and its anonymity level.
IP:PORT, IP:PORT:USER:PASS and USER:PASS@IP:PORT, optionally with a protocol prefix such as socks5:// or http://. Comma-, semicolon- or tab-separated lines such as IP,PORT,USER,PASS or IP:PORT,USER,PASS also work, with or without quotes. IPv6 addresses go in square brackets, for example [2001:db8::1]:8080.
Elite proxies add no forwarding headers. Anonymous proxies reveal that a proxy is used but hide your IP. Transparent proxies pass your original IP to the website. HTTP proxies are measured over plain HTTP; SOCKS proxies and HTTPS-only tunnels cannot add headers, so they are always Elite.
A proxy port usually speaks one protocol. An HTTP proxy does not answer a SOCKS5 handshake, so that test times out. Test only the protocols your provider lists for that port to get faster results.
The username or password is wrong, or the proxy uses IP authorization and our checker's IP is not on its allow list. For IP-authorized proxies, test with username and password credentials instead.
No. Credentials are sent over HTTPS, used only to run the check and never stored or logged. To prevent abuse, we log your IP address, browser user agent and the proxy addresses and results you check, and keep these logs for 30 days.
Up to 100 proxies per run. They are checked in parallel batches and results appear as each batch finishes.
Response times are measured from our checker server, not from your device. Distance between you, the proxy and the destination website changes the real speed you get.
