Step-by-step setup instructions for HighProxies Premium VPN Service

Before You BeginEnsure you have your VPN credentials ready. You can find your specific Username and Password in your VPN Control Panel here.
  • Server Address (e.g., amsterdam05.highproxies.com)
  • Username & Password
  • Root Certificates link: Let's Encrypt Authority

Windows 10/11 Configuration

VPN Settings

Click the Start menu and go to Settings > Network & Internet > VPN. Click Add a VPN connection.

Finalize

Enter your username/password from the control panel, click Save, then click Connect in the VPN menu.

macOS IKEv2 Setup (Ventura & Sonoma)

Network Settings

Go to Apple Menu > System Settings. Select Network in the sidebar. Click the down arrow icon (...) or Add Service button at the bottom right of the service list.

Add VPN Interface

Select Add VPN Configuration and choose IKEv2. Set the Display Name to "HighProxies VPN".

User Authentication

Click Authentication Settings.... Choose Username as the method. Enter your HighProxies Username and Password from the control panel. Click Apply and toggle the switch to Connect.

iOS (iPhone/iPad) IKEv2 Setup

General Settings

Open Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. Tap on VPN and then Add VPN Configuration...

Manual Configuration

Set the Type to IKEv2. Fill in the following details from your control panel:

Save and Connect

Tap Done. Select the HighProxies profile and toggle the Status switch to Connected.

Download Root Certificates

Download these certificates to your Downloads folder to ensure the connection is trusted:

Import into strongSwan

Open the strongSwan VPN Client app:

  • Navigate to the CA Certificates tab (swipe or use menu)
  • Tap INSTALL or the + icon
  • Select File and choose isrgrootx1.pem from Downloads
  • Repeat for e8-cross.pem
  • Ensure both are listed in the "Imported" section

Add VPN Profile

Tap ADD VPN PROFILE at the top:
